Flower market shopping tips
Flowers arrive early in the morning on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, so for the freshest flowers, shop on these days.
Most flowers are sold in bunches of 10, some of them come in a bunches of 5, and some of the larger flowers such as hydrangeas are sold individually. When shopping for flowers, you should as for a “dahn” which means bunch in Korean.
Be prepared to bargain. Flower vendors will quote you a price higher than they expect you to pay, expecting that you will ask for a lower price.
Flowers are priced at 30 to 50% below retail price. Like most Korean local markets, bring cash (Korean Won). Most vendors do not accept credit cards.
Most of the flowers at this market are imported. Domestic flowers are sold at Yangjae market.

You can access it via Express Bus Terminal Station (Subway lines 3, 7, or 9). Go out Exit 1. Head to the bus terminal, and go inside. Take the escalator up 2 floors.
